Seamless, the popular online food delivery site, crashed on Sunday night leaving a lot of people upset and hungry. The night the site went down was the same night that it offered a 15% discount as a promotion for the season premiere of ‘Girls’ on HBO.

A rep for the site insisted that ‘Girls’ was not entirely at fault for crashing the site, saying “It was a big night for TV and staying in. There’s no way we can draw correlation between any promotion and the outage. There was Golden Globes and sports . . . We will be making it up to the diners affected by the outage.”
The company tweeted:
The Globes, the GIRLS, the playoffs and the hunger has things running slow. Thanks for your patience as we work this out. Be back soon!
