Demi Lovato has been quite the busy bee as of late, and is taking quite the sting some “fans” for taking a moment to rest her wings.

The X-Factor Judge was noticeably absent from the People’s Choice Awards, last night, where she “took home” she the award for Favorite Female Artist as well as Favorite Music Fan Following.

Explaining her absence, the Neon Lights singer took to Twitter to state “I haven’t taken a substantial amount of time off in a long time and now I am. Thank you for those who voted and understand why I am away.”

But her rest did not stop her from sharing her enthusiasm with her ‘Lovatics’ when she won. She Tweeted:

“I’M. SO. EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you guys SOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!! #FavoriteFemaleArtist #FavoriteMusicFanFollowing #ILOVEMYLOVATICS!!!!!”
