Carrie Underwood is fighting back at critics of her performance in NBC’s “The Sound of Music” production.

The country star took to Twitter to respond to her haters on Friday night, “Plain and simple: Mean people need Jesus.”

“They will be in my prayers tonight… 1 Peter 2:1-25,” wrote the singer.
